This place was really nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a clean facility, that always smells good and has beautiful decor. It is also pet friendly! Not to mention you get 20% off at the Ihop that is walking distance. I only gave four stars because the towels are uncomfortable and the indoor heated pool was misleading. The pool itself is not heated, but I went during the summer. It may be different for winter.
Be careful when you make the reservation, they won't let you cancel on the same day. I called at 8am on Saturday morning to cancel a Saturday night reservation, and they said that I would have to pay the full cost of the room (even though the hotel was sold out for the night). If the hotel is full, and they have over 12 hours to fill the vacancy that my cancellation would leave open, it is very likely that they would have been able to fill my vacant room. I don't think that is very good customer service for a loyal Best Western guest. Otherwise, the hotel was nice, we liked the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast was good.
Their employees made mistakes quoting the total room charges and confirmed when asked twice over the phones on two separate days. Actually it turned out that it was the room rate, not total room charges. So my bill got doubled unexpectedly. They didn’t bother to investigate or check the quality assurance audio recordings to confirm that it was their mistake. Contacted them to resolve this to no avail. They refused to help. There was no internet access in my room and I reported it, it was not fixed. Breakfast was not that great, fake scrambled eggs killed my appetite. Room was very comfortable and clean. Swimming pool, hallways and lobby were very clean.
Lovely hotel and pleasant stay. Very clean and good décor. This is a no smoking hotel but the designated smoking area is on either side of the entrance.
The staff at the Best Western were great, each employee I came in contact with was very nice. I found the interior and exterior of this motel were very clean and nicely decorated. The only negative thing I can say is the breakfast was good with the exception of the sausage and eggs. Overall it was a great place to stay!
